Founding engineer · Boston, MA

Founding engineer building AI infrastructure, Solana systems & real-time data platforms.

I build production systems across on-chain protocols, distributed backends, analytics pipelines, and autonomous agent infrastructure. At Torque Labs, I helped ship the platform behind $5B+ in volume, $10M+ in rewards, and 1,400+ incentive campaigns.

Torque Labs

Founding Engineer / Tech Lead

Onchain incentive infrastructure for Solana protocols — programmable reward campaigns, real-time data pipelines, and autonomous engineering systems.

  • Founding engineer & technical lead

Designed and shipped core systems on a platform that has driven $5B+ volume, distributed $10M+ in rewards, and powered 1,400+ campaigns. Built and shaped a 4-engineer team from founding while remaining hands-on across Solana programs, backend API, real-time data, analytics, and AI agent infrastructure.

  • Solana protocol & backend API

Built Anchor programs implementing six reward primitives — leaderboards, raffles, rebates, gifts, referrals, and custom campaigns — used by Raydium, Axiom, Metaplex, and USD1 to escrow and distribute on-chain rewards. Backed the protocol with a high-performance API and a parallelized Solana transaction emission pipeline.

  • Real-time data pipeline

Built a high-throughput Solana transaction ingestion system using Helius Laserstream, decoded finalized transactions against Anchor IDLs and Borsh schemas, and fanned data into analytics stores powering attribution, dashboards, and Sybil-resistance surfaces.

  • Analytics pipeline

Designed batch analytics over historical data with Spark / PySpark, S3 Parquet, and scheduled aggregations for customer dashboards, reward attribution, and user segmentation.

  • Hermes agent OS

Engineered a GitHub App + Linear + Slack integrated agent system operating as an automated DevOps architect across Torque's distributed multi-repo codebase. Orchestrated parallel workflows with worktree isolation, adversarial review, and quality gates for migration safety, design-system compliance, and cross-repo contract tracing.

  • AI agent tooling

Built an autonomous Claude Code loop delivering verified PRs from PRDs, shipped Torque's in-platform AI assistant with sandboxed code execution and validated SQL, and built an MCP server giving customers direct query access from Claude / Cursor.

EmpireDAO

Technology Lead

Technical product leadership for blockchain-based real estate ownership models, on-chain loyalty programs, and in-person crypto experiences.

  • Product and engineering leadership

Led design and implementation of EmpireDAO's technical products, including a fractionalized REIT model with digital units and on-chain loyalty programs for brands. Managed and shaped the engineering team while translating product concepts into shippable blockchain systems.

  • Proof-of-In-Real-Life

Designed and led development of Proof-of-In-Real-Life (PoIRL), enabling permissionless location integrations for decentralized applications through NFC tags so brands could distribute on-chain assets through in-person interaction.

Freelance

Software Engineer / Non-Fungible Raids Lead

Independent Solana engineering across client dApps, including team leadership on a flagship NFT distribution product.

  • Non-Fungible Raids

Led engineering for a Solana NFT distribution platform where holders sent assets on gamified raids to earn raffle tickets redeemable for token prizes. Integrated compressed NFTs as in-game items to scale ticket issuance at low cost.

  • Client Solana dApps

Built decentralized applications for multiple clients using Rust Anchor programs and JavaScript / TypeScript backends, while coordinating implementation across a small engineering group.

PTC Inc.

Software Engineer

Backend services for a client-facing web application managing Augmented Reality assets and authoring tools used by enterprise customers to build immersive AR experiences.

  • AR authoring backend

Built and supported backend services for the asset management and authoring tools layer of PTC's AR platform.

  • Mentorship

Mentored two software engineering interns and supported technical communication across engineering and product partners.

03 · Leadership

Chosen to lead, still close to the code.

The through-line across the resume is technical ownership: shaping teams, mentoring engineers, and making ambiguous systems concrete enough to ship.

Technical direction

  • Founding Engineer / Tech Lead at Torque, shaping platform architecture across protocol, backend, data, analytics, and AI systems.
  • Technology Lead at EmpireDAO, turning blockchain product ideas into implementation plans and shipped systems.
  • Lead Software Engineer for Non-Fungible Raids, coordinating a small engineering group around a Solana NFT product.

Mentorship and communication

  • Built and shaped a 4-engineer founding team at Torque while mentoring the junior-most engineer.
  • Managed and mentored two software engineering interns at PTC.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with engineering and cross-functional product partners.

Team trust

  • Two-time captain of the Tufts Men's Varsity Lacrosse Team in 2020 and 2021.
  • Voted into captaincy by teammates and coaches in back-to-back seasons.
  • Brought the same ownership standard into founding-stage engineering work.

05 · About

Engineer first. Builder always.

Boston-based founding engineer with a track record of being chosen to lead. I write production systems across Solana programs, distributed backends, real-time data pipelines, and autonomous AI agent infrastructure.

My work tends to sit at the point where product pressure meets systems pressure: programmable incentives on high-throughput chains, streams that cannot quietly drop data, analytics that customers rely on, and agent loops that need strong verification gates.

The resume version is dense by necessity. This site gives the expanded version: what I built, what I led, and the stack I reach for when the work has to survive real users.
